It’s an interesting time of year in Denver. It snows, then by lunchtime the snow has mostly melted off the sidewalks and streets and it warms up. So, how do you go from your snow boots and puffy coat, or equivalent, to looking stylish in the same day? It can be a challenge but I hope to help you navigate it so that you can still look cute and feel good.
What is the challenge? Just throw on some boots and go right? Wrong. There is nothing worse than a woman who tucks her pants or jeans into a snow boot. I know that it’s not all about looking cute, but this can’t possibly make you feel cute either. I deal with this issue. You don’t want to get the bottom of your pants wet from the snow, but you also don’t want to wrinkle them by tucking them into your boot. For me, I have long pants and jeans to go with my high heals but my snow boots have a much lower heel, therefore my pants will drag on the ground. I could wear a dress but then my legs are really cold, even with thick tights on. These boots below are the perfect solution. I then bring my heels to change into as the weather warms.
This is not your official snow gear, but rather for women like me who don’t wear skinny jeans and leggings and still need to wear snow boots. Below are some options I suggest for navigating this dilemma with style in cute snow gear.
Boots
Hunter Original High Heel Waterproof boot, $195
Hunter Original Short Wedge Boot, $175.00
Coats
This is sometimes another cause of stress as you need to be warm but not too warm. I suggest layering under these amazing coats. You never want to wear a super cute outfit under your ski jacket unless you are skiing. As the weather warms, remove it to reveal your gorgeous outfit.
