Shopping In Paris

I know it’s been a couple weeks since we left Paris but I’m still daydreaming about it! We had such an incredible couple of weeks there and I must say that shopping in Paris is everything you’ve heard and more. There are many areas of this gorgeous city to fulfill your shopping itch and I want to share with you my favorites.

Saint Germain dés Pres – If you love to shop in neighborhoods with trendy and gorgeous boutiques, this is probably your best bet. It is a fairly large area of town with everything you could want from high end designers to designers you won’t find anywhere else.  I found myself here while shopping in Paris several times and made some amazing purchases! This area also has some amazing cafes and of course, chocolate stores which I did indulge in daily!

Rue des Francs-Bourgeois near Rue des Rosiers known as the Jewish Quarters – This area has a great vibe to it and you’ll find some amazing Parisian boutiques. It is also a great place to hang out with the locals and enjoy a nice glass of wine!

Galeries Lafayette – Think Harrods only better and easier to shop. It’s located near the Opera which is a gorgeous area of town. This is a massive store where you could get lost. If you are looking for the hottest designers all under one roof, this spot is perfect for you. However, if being in a mall like setting makes you itch, this is not your spot.Shopping in Paris

Avenue Montaigne – the most luxurious street to shop. Think Rodeo Drive. This area is simply stunning and hosts many of the top fashion houses in the world like Chanel and Tom Ford.  Whether you are out for a stroll and some window shopping or looking for that perfect new wardrobe, you are bound to get inspired.

Champs-ÉlyséesThis street is famous for it’s flagship stores and literally has a mile of stores from luxury to chain.  To be honest, it was a little overwhelming with all of the tourists out and about but was fun to explore albeit briefly.
