Spring Cross Body Purses

Lately, everyone has been asking me what my favorite spring cross body purses are.  I love this look for spring as it’s fresh, light and easy.  The cross body is a great purse to just grab and go from day to night.  Whether you have kids and need both of your hands free or are enjoying a day of shopping and don’t want the burden of a heavy tote, cross body purses are the perfect answer.  I particularly love the ones that can double as a clutch to transition from day to evening.  If you travel, I find that a cross body purse is the perfect choice for a bag because you can site see, have lunch and meander around without a big heavy tote and they pack nicely in your luggage.  Also, if you are someone who suffers from neck and shoulder pain, these are a great alternative, which can provide you with some much needed relief and still look stylish.

Now that you’re sold on the idea of having a cross body purse, which one do you choose?  Look at your lifestyle first.  Do you want one for the weekends, day to night, travel, etc.?  Next, choose a color that will match what you wear on those occasions.  I love a pop of color, like coral, blue or a neutral metallic but I also think you can’t go wrong with a basic black for year round wearability.

Here are some of my favorite spring cross body purses.
