Although this trend is not groundbreaking by any means, it has been updated and it’s all over spring fashion this year. So, how do you wear this trend while making it look fresh and updated. First of all, choose a silhouette that you love and flatters your body. Maybe it’s a fabulous fit and flare dress that works magic if you have hips or your bottom is larger than your top. Some people shy away from white pants in the summer. Try a printed black and white one which will help slim you and have you look on trend. My favorite is a black and white stripe as it creates the illusion of looking taller and at 5’4″, I could use all the help I can get. I also love a great printed black and white top with a solid color bottom. However you do it you can’t go wrong. One look that I love with this trend is to pair your black and white clothing with a pop of color in your shoes and handbag or maybe even your belt. This is a great way to add some unexpected spring color to the mix. I love using pink, blue and yellow to really make it pop. I also love mixing several colors together for this look. Maybe try a color blocked shoe or pair of fabulous pink heels with a blue clutch. You could also incorporate a chunky statement necklace with a pop of color or some great dangling earrings. Don’t be afraid to mix it up. Here are some of my favorites to make a statement.
