Spring is right around the corner. Once we move our clocks forward this Saturday, let the days get longer and the weather get warmer! As the season changes, so does our wardrobe. Here’s my guide to navigating through this season’s Spring Trends. There are too many trends to talk about so I’ll give you the ones that I personally like. If you want information on all the Spring Trends for 2015, check out Harper’s Bazaar or Vogue.
Here it is, my list of must have spring trends to update your wardrobe for 2015.
Wide Leg Trouser – I could not be happier about this trend as I’ve been fearlessly promoting this look for years. Finally the designers and celebrities have come around. Weather you are a size 2 or 22, if you have thin or thick thighs, it works. Unlike it’s counter part the skinny that doesn’t work on most women or as I like to say unless you consider yourself skinny, don’t wear it. Try it and you’ll become a true believer instantly.

Gingham checks – It’s been called THE print for Spring trends 2015. I love it and love all of the fresh exciting ways it can be worn. From a gorgeously sexy maxi dress to a fabulous pair of leggings (if you are bold enough to pull them off).

Suede
Whether it’s shoes, a stylish jacket or some fabulous pants, this is a look everyone can do and has you look feminine and gorgeous this spring. Here are a few of my favorite ways you can incorporate this spring trend into your wardrobe effortlessly.
Florals
Although florals are not new, this year it feels fresh and new the way the designers are incorporating this spring trend. Weather it’s a big print or small print, it works.
Donna Morgan Sleeveless Twill Fit and Flare Dress, $138.00
Christin Michaels Kelly Maxi Dress, $98.00
INC International Concepts Short-Sleeve Floral Print Top, $69.50, Now $49.99
Fringe
Finally I’m seeing a great way for the average woman to incorporate fringe into their wardrobe. In the past I feel like the look has been very Pocahontas or a more 70s vibe which is fine for some people but certainly not the look for me. I’m loving the way in which they are incorporate fringe into skirts and dresses. If you really like this look, find a way to wear it that inspires you.

Jean Paul Gaultier Tattoo Lace Tulle Top (Nordstrom Exclusive), $395.00
Dex Lace Front Top, $49.00
MICHAEL Michael Kors Printed Semi-Sheer Blouse, $89.50, Now 62.65
Culottes
This is a look that I think people either love or hate. I happen to think that if they are done right, they could look amazing. I will say that if you are on the shorter side, this could be a tough look for you making you look short and wide. My advice is to save this look for the ladies at least 5-4 and up. Here’s an example of how I think they could be pulled off really well. I would wear this with some black strapy sandals and a colorful shirt.
