My favorite holiday is quickly approaching! Ever since I was a little girl, I get so excited to celebrate this magical holiday. Valentine’s Day for me is an opportunity to express love, gratitude and appreciation. Some call it a Hallmark Holiday because it’s that that time of the year when flowers and hearts along with a mixture of pink and red bombard you in every store you enter. Let’s bring the true spirit back this year. With this being the first year for Stella to take valentines to school, it’s particularly special to me. We are going to hand make the special valentines for her classmates!
So how do you bring the true spirit back this year when all you see is roses and chocolates? Here’s my advice, shop local and be thoughtful. I went to one of my favorite gift boutiques in Denver last week, Wish Gifts on University, to scope it out for you. What I found amazed me. They truly have something for everyone on your list.
