One dress style that I love on every woman regardless of age, lifestyle, body type or personality is a wrap dress. Diane Von Furstenberg first made the amazing dress popular in 1972 and there is a reason why they never go out of style and are equally as popular today. Although it’s been over 40 years since the wrap dress got the notoriety it deserves, even today some women still don’t know what all the rage is about. It baffles me that everyday when I work with clients, women don’t understand that even if they don’t like dresses, this is one that will work every time. There are now many versions and they are all equally as flattering. There are ones that twist on the side, one’s that gather on the side giving the illusion of wrapping, one’s with ruffles, short ones, long ones, sleeveless ones, long sleeves and the list goes on. The thing that makes a these dresses amazing is that they expose the decolletage making you appear more open and inviting while at the same time bringing in your waist and giving you the appearance of an hour glass figure. Most styles have a great pattern which also deflects from those troubling areas only to accentuate your amazing figure. These are some of the most coveted things a woman wants to make her figure look flawless. When you are choosing a wrap dress, make sure that you consider what kind of fabric it is as you want it to flow nicely and that the “wrap” hits you at just the right place which is at your natural waist line (which is higher than you think).
